Recipes are for home baking

Our recipes are offered for personal, non-commercial use. Bake them, share them with friends and link to them as much as you like. Please don’t republish our recipe text or photos elsewhere, or use them commercially, without our permission. A short excerpt with a link back is fine.

AI-generated content

Many recipes on this site, including the daily recipe, and all recipe photos are created with the help of AI. We check daily recipes for vegan ingredients and sensible quantities, temperatures and times, but they have not all been test-baked. Recipes from The Lab are generated on request and are not reviewed at all. Photos are illustrations, not pictures of the actual result. Read a recipe through before you start, use your own judgment, and keep an eye on the first batch.

Allergies and dietary needs

Recipes may contain or come into contact with common allergens such as nuts, peanuts, soy, wheat, gluten and sesame. “Vegan” means the recipe calls for no animal products. It is not a promise that every brand you buy is vegan or allergen-free. Always check product labels, especially for chocolate, sugar, sprinkles and candies. Nothing on this site is medical, nutritional or allergy advice.

Kitchen safety

Baking involves hot ovens, sharp tools and raw ingredients. Use care, follow your appliance instructions, and supervise children in the kitchen. You are responsible for how you prepare, store and serve food.

Using The Lab

You may use The Lab for your own cooking. Don’t use it to send personal information, overload the service, or try to get around its limits. We may limit or suspend The Lab at any time. Recipes it creates may be saved and shown again to anyone who enters the same ingredients.

Acceptable use

Don’t use the site in a way that breaks the law, harms the site or its visitors, or interferes with how it works. That includes scraping it at a volume that degrades service or attempting to access parts of it that aren’t public.

Our content

The site’s design, text, photos and logo belong to Vegan Cookie Lab or are used with permission. These terms don’t give you any ownership of them.

No warranty

The site and its recipes are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that a recipe will turn out as described or that the site will always be available or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Vegan Cookie Lab is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss, injury or illness arising from your use of the site or its recipes. Where liability can’t be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the site, which is nothing.

We may link to other websites. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or practices.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
